Luckily the vikings thought of them as people and let them fight, but they still didnt go out of their way to give them custom armor and weapons.
You should be more mad at them then some mod that is set in a time period where 99.9% of all women were literally thought of as objects for breeding and nothing more. Unless you want the unrealistic skimpy clothing you get in almost every RPG now for women. Also its leather and mail armor you cant really customise those in terms of shape.
Well considering this time all armor was unisex, do you honestly think blacksmiths are going go out of their way to make custom fit armor for females? Of course not!!!!! Considering they didnt even know who or what was wearing them they just knew hey i got money to make 100 of these so lets do it.
